LEGAL
Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 June 2026
These terms govern use of the PAIVUS hospitality operating system by hotel and short-let operators. By creating an account or using PAIVUS, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
PAIVUS provides software for managing reservations, guests, payments, housekeeping, and related hotel operations. PAIVUS is infrastructure software and does not itself take reservations from or owe contractual obligations to your guests.
2. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of rates, availability, and guest information entered into PAIVUS. You are responsible for complying with applicable tax law including VAT in your jurisdiction.
3. Payments
Where you use the Coptos settlement rail or other integrated payment methods through PAIVUS, those transactions are subject to the applicable payment provider terms. PAIVUS is not a bank and does not hold client funds.
4. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Critical operations are designed to continue during connectivity interruptions and sync once restored.
5. Data
You retain ownership of your property and guest data. You grant PAIVUS the right to process this data to provide the service, including using de-identified, aggregated booking patterns to improve the LUMYN forecasting engine.
6. Fees
Pricing is as agreed at signup or as published on paivus.com. Founder pricing offered during early access is locked for three years from account creation.
7. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We retain transaction records for the period required by UK tax law, currently 7 years, even after account closure.
8. Liability
PAIVUS is provided as is. We are not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the service, except where caused by our gross negligence or where liability cannot be excluded by law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
